Wellness(2) Major projects

Next, the main projects of the Wellness segment are explained.

Tokyu Stay operates 19 facilities, providing 2,735 rooms. These include two facilities that opened for business in fiscal year 2017, the Tokyu Stay Kyoto Ryogaemachi-Dori that entered service in November 2017 and the Tokyu Stay Takanawa (in front of Sengakuji Station), which began to operate in February 2018.

In fiscal year 2018, the Company will open six facilities, including the Tokyu Stay Hakata (tentative name), in addition to the Tokyu Stay Sapporo that began to operate in April 2018. We aim to achieve external growth by accelerating store openings in provincial areas where demand for business use is firm and inbound demand is strong.

In the Medium-Term Management Plan, we project the expansion of Tokyu Stay operations to about 30 facilities and 4,400 rooms in fiscal year 2020. Properties including tentative ones have achieving prospective way to achieve this plan.

In the Harvest Club business, we will open the TOKYU Harvest Club Karuizawa & VIALA in July 2018 and sales are proceeding well, with almost 80% of its membership already sold at the end of March.
In other types of projects, we renewed the former Karuizawa Hotel acquired in FY2016, and opened it under the name of the Curio Collection by Hilton, as the first hotel for the brand in Japan in April 2018, based on a franchise agreement concluded with Hilton.

In addition, we plan to open the Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa in August 2018. We are expanding our initiatives in the hotel business, applying the knowhow we have gained through the resort business.
