Change of Segment Categories(1)

Next, I would like to explain the changes to the segment categories.

As a result of the recent establishment of a holding company system, we carried out reorganization with a focus on customers and the restructuring of the Group structure based on the management approach. Consequently, we reviewed the segment categories to ensure that business segments and business organizations are developed in a consistent manner and to further clarify the corporate mission and business accountability.

Tokyu Land Corporation, an operating company, is responsible for the Urban Development segment, which is engaged in the leasing of office buildings and commercial facilities and the management of REITs and other businesses, the Residential segment, which is engaged in sales of condominiums and other properties, the Wellness segment, which is mainly engaged in the management and sales of resort facilities and other facilities and the housing business for senior customers, and the Business Innovation, and Others segment, which is chiefly engaged in renovation work, built-to-order housing and overseas businesses.
Under the new structure, Tokyu Community Corporation, Tokyu Livable, Inc. and Tokyu Hands, Inc. are also responsible for the Property Management segment, the Real-Estate Agents segment and the Tokyu Hands segment, respectively.
