(2)TOKYU STAY Business

Moving on, we will now look at the operations of the Tokyu Stay hotels for medium- to long-term stays. In the current fiscal year, these operations have become part of the Wellness segment.
At the moment, Tokyu Stay Co., Ltd. runs 16 hotels, with a total of 2,265 rooms. Many of these hotels are located in central Tokyo. For the convenience of guests staying for medium- to long periods, guest rooms are designed to be rather large and equipped with washers and dryers, as well as small kitchens.
The room occupancy rose significantly from 86% for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2014 to 91% for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2015. A large number of visitors from overseas stayed at Tokyu Stay hotels.
Tokyu Stay Shinjuku near Shinjuku-Sanchome Station will begin operation in May. The tentatively named Tokyu Stay Ginza near Higashi-Ginza Station is scheduled to begin operation in the spring of 2016.
