(8) Renewable energy business

Here are our initiatives for renewable energy projects.

As part of efforts to expand the cyclical investment business, we are in the process of operating businesses under the ReENE brand.
As of the end of September 2019, we were working on a total of 44 projects including 19 plants in operation and 25 plants under development, and the balance of investments stood at ¥103.7 billion.
These facilities will contribute to revenue in this fiscal year and beyond.

The Company’s first wind power generation plant commenced operation in Matsumae-cho, Hokkaido, in April.
Going forward, the Company will contribute to building a sustainable society by promoting initiatives for the business of renewable energies such as solar and wind power.
