(2) Performance indicators in sales agency operations

Next, I will review the performance indicators for real estate sales agents.
In the first six months of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014, the retail business in particular was strong.
The "Livable Safe Agent Guarantee", which we launched in the previous fiscal year, remained popular, resulting in a 21% increase in the number of transactions and a rise in the average handling price. The amount of transactions increased 23% from the previous fiscal year.
We also continued to improve our services by launching a new "Inheritance Tax Lending Service", for example. We also opened five new stores.
In the wholesale business, we strived to improve our services for investors in Japan and overseas. As a result, the average handling price increased significantly year on year, from ¥234 million to ¥335 million, and the amount of transactions rose 46% year on year, although the number of transactions increased only slightly.
As shown in the lower right column, we expect both the number of transactions and the average handling price for the full year to increase from the previous fiscal year, in both retail and wholesale businesses.
