Overseas projects

One of the new businesses we are developing for the future is our engagement with the overseas business.

We regard this as one of the businesses for which we should plant seeds during the period of the current medium-term management plan, to contribute to earnings in the next medium-term management plan.

We will actively consider participating in projects in China and Indonesia where we have already built a platform, and in areas where population and economic growth is expected in the future, while paying careful consideration to risks.

In the fiscal year ended March 2011, we began managing a serviced apartment jointly with a Group company in Shanghai.

Our basic strategy is to enter into alliances with excellent local partners. We will also approach the condominium business jointly with a new local company in Jakarta.

We will also operate our overseas business by taking advantage of the integrated power of the Tokyu Land Group, as in other businesses.
